Me and my brother, Mike created a Christmas charity event in 2013 inspired by a bet we had in 2012.
We bet each other that we could each keep our paper Christmas cracker hat on for the longest time after consuming our Christmas meal. There was a lot of money at stake and I won eventually won by managing to embarrassingly keep my greasy paper hat on for a full 7 days.
The following year we created ‘King for a Week’ where we essentially asked participants to to get sponsored to wear their paper cracker hat for a full week after Xmas (finishing at midnight on NYE). It was a great success and we raised over £1,700 for The Joshua Foundation.
