The first day we moved into our new one-bedroom cottage I sketched the 2 pages below and set to work. The brief was to build a custom king-size bed which incorporated storage to the perimeter of the room, built-in electric sockets to either side of the bed. USB ports for charging our phones, under-bed storage drawers and a window seat. It took 3 months on-and-off because we had so much other work to do to the place but I’m really happy with the end result…
